Individuals with FASD may have difficulty remembering probation-related appointments

 

Individuals with FASD often have reduced problem solving abilities that may hinder compliance with probation rules and regulations

 

Individuals with FASD frequently have decreased abilities to remember or comprehend rules of probation

 

Individuals with FASD often have lower reading comprehension levels that place them at risk of not understanding documents that need to be read and signed

 

Individuals with FASD commonly have a diminished ability to understand the consequences of not complying with probation

 

Individuals with FASD may provide inaccurate or inconsistent information during the Pre-Sentence Investigation (PSI)

 

Individuals with FASD may display difficulties in money management, time management and employment retention

 

Individuals with FASD may present with an increase in needs and challenges compared to non-FASD impacted probationers

 

Individuals with FASD may be at a greater likelihood to confabulate
